 Your baby's first birthday is a major milestone and you will want to plan something memorable. Here are 8 easy party ideas for your tot's 1st birthday.
1) ABC & 123 Party: With party goodies and building blocks in primary colors, use children's sing-a-long music to create a baby-friendly environment.
2) Take Me to the Zoo: Start at home with animal posters, stuffed animals, and animal sound recordings—then go to the zoo.
3) Mother Goose Party: Have some adults dress-up as Nursery Rhyme characters. Hang drawings or posters of Mother Goose Characters. Decorate a sheet cake to look like Mother Goose.
4) Creative Color Party: Have some adult guests dress in bright primary colors. Have a rainbow cake. Older children can decorate your walkway using sidewalk chalk. Serve cupcakes made in colored ice cream cones.
5) Sound Story Time: Read or tell a favorite story accented with pre-recorded sound effects from a tape recorder.
6) Really Rollin’ Ball Party: Children sit in a circle with legs apart and roll large ball to each other.
